Technology & operations leadership
I stand up and run the functions a business depends on — IT and infrastructure, systems and integrations, policy and SOPs, vendor strategy. Most recently building an IT and digital operations function from nothing for a holding company and its operating businesses.

Applied AI & automation
I build agent-based systems that do real work: an agent orchestrator exposing 189 typed tools across 20 domain modules, scoped per channel, behind a staged-write gate — the model never changes business state directly, it stages an action a human commits. Retrieval-augmented knowledge layers. Two Model Context Protocol servers exposing 59 tools. AI voice agents that answer calls, capture leads, book meetings and hand off to a human. I also build agents that build software: a fleet of 29 purpose-built engineering agents on the Claude Agent SDK wired into CI, covering pull-request review, test coverage, security audit and error triage. Plus the unglamorous automation — 33 scheduled workers that reconcile, report, invoice and monitor without anyone touching them.

Software & platform engineering
Full-stack product work in TypeScript, React, Node.js and PostgreSQL. Multi-tenant SaaS with canary migrations, schema-drift detection and distributed tracing. Native mobile in React Native. Hardware and on-premise integration where the software has to meet the physical world.

Manufacturing operations platform
Client engagement
A complete operations system for a specialty manufacturer: visual production scheduling, work-order lifecycle, shop-floor data entry, shift performance tracking and a configurable reporting suite — with an on-premise service syncing their existing ERP and legacy databases into the platform. In daily production use.

About
Background
Daniel built his first website at eight years old and has been building systems ever since. He has run operations for a robotics and AI solutions company where every department reported to him, and authored the curriculum and the academic catalog for a first-of-its-kind accelerated postsecondary institution, carrying them through Pennsylvania Department of Education review to licensure. He also built the organizational structure that established an affiliated 501(c)(3) and ran its community education and workforce-development programs, built and ran a coworking and business incubation program, and managed a café and fine-dining operation as its first general manager. He is a Central Pennsylvania native — born in York, educated at Pittsburgh Technical Institute, and back home by choice.
